April 14, 2015Inglis Easter Success for Newhaven Park
April 10 – Newhaven Park posted strong results at the 2015 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale selling 11 yearlings in Session I for $2,645,000 and a further four in Session II for $695,000 including the top priced offering in that part of the sale.
The Snitzel colt from good producer Appear was a standout in Session II and was snaffled by Shadwell Australia for $500,000.
He is a half-brother to handy galloper Streetshavenoname, who won again at Geelong on Friday and comes from the family of Group I stars Grand Armee, Dealer Principal, Drum and Anamato.
In Session I, our best sellers were the Commands colt from Aemilee that made $560,000 to the bid of George Moore Bloodstock and the full brother to stakes-winner Peeping, by Redoute’s Choice from Miss Marielle, that made $475,000 when secured by China Horse Club/ Michael Wallace Bloodstock.
