All roads might lead to the Hunter Valley for the renowned stallion parade weekend on August 24 and 25, but not all good stallions stand in the Hunter Valley and one such stallion is Newhaven Park’s exciting new addition Delago Deluxe.
“We couldn’t be happier with him and the way he has settled in here, so we are keen for as many breeders to see him as possible,” said Newhaven Park’s John Kelly.
“It’s a very competitive year for first season sires and this horse sells himself when you see him.
“Just give us a call any time and we would be delighted to parade him and show people around the farm so they can see what Newhaven Park is all about.”
An explosive sprinter by Northern Meteor’s sire Encosta de Lago, Delago Deluxe won the South African equivalent of Golden Slipper and Newmarket Handicapand comes from an outstanding female family being closely related to Group I winners Duporth and Excites, not to mention Group II winner Tickets and million dollar earner Staging.
