With three winners this month and his first stakes horse Casa de Lago, Newhaven Park’s Delago Deluxe is starting to gain some traction with his latest winner at Albury on Friday bringing a pedigree update for a yearling headed to Inglis Easter for Milburn Creek.
The Nick Olive trained filly Bella Deluxe scored a tenacious nose win in the 1600 metre maiden with a widening seven lengths back to the third horse.
Bella Deluxe was overdue for a win having placed at her three previous starts.
A $105,000 Inglis Classic purchase for Triple Crown Syndications from the Milburn Creek, Bella Deluxe is the first winner for Belladini, a half-sister to stakes-winner Mrs Kipling.
Belladini is a grand-daughter of blue hen Twiglet, the dam of Group I winners Fairy King Prawn and Easy Rocking and grand-dam of Group I winner Cosmic Endeavour.
Milburn Creek will offer the current yearling from Belladini, a filly by Not a Single Doubt, at the 2018 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale as Lot 39
