January 18, 2017$4.7 Million in Magic Sales for Newhaven
Newhaven Park enjoyed great results at the 2017 Magic Millions Yearling Sale selling 29 yearlings for $4.7 million across Book 1 and 2.
Newhaven Park sold to a wide range of purchasers from all over the world and we wish everyone the very best of luck with their new acquisitions going forward.
Top seller was a stunning filly by champion US sire Tapit from Leinan that made $700,000 when bought by Mandalong Valley / Gary Nickson Racing.
The filly was bred by Ricky Surace’s B2B Bloodstock ad is the first foal of her stakes-winning dam, who was covered last spring by Newhaven Park’s promising young sire Delago Deluxe.
Other great results for Newhaven were the Exceed and Excel colt from Gavroche that made $450,000 when bought by Harras Syndicate/Mulcaster Bloodstock and the Redoute’s Choice filly from Kidman that made $400,000 when bought by blue Sky Bloodstock.
Newhaven Park will now head to the 2017 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale on February 11, 12 and 13 with a draft of nine yearlings.
