March 7, 2016Black Type for Hurricane Jack
March 6 – Producing a great run for second in the Listed WATC Supremacy Stakes at Ascot in Perth on Saturday was promising Snitzel colt Hurricane Jack, a $320,000 Magic Millions purchase from the draft of Newhaven Park.
Trained by Neville Parnham, Hurricane Jack was fourth on debut last month when slowly away, but improved sharply for this assignment to run home for second to flying filly Whispering Brook.
Bred and sold by Newhaven Park, Hurricane Jack is the first foal to race for Kinder, a half-sister by Hurricane Sky to Group III winner Graceful Anna.
Kinder produced a colt by Delago Deluxe last spring and was subsequently covered by Not a Single Doubt.
