Winner of the Group I BRC Queensland Oaks in 2006, quality mare Allow featured with a new winner on Thursday providing a timely update for the upcoming Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale in which she will be offered for sale by Newhaven Park.
Three year-old Fastnet Rock gelding Try Four opened his account when scoring a tenacious win over 2200 metres at the God Coast on Thursday.
A $400,000 Magic Million purchase from the Newhaven draft, Try Four runs for well-known owners Graham and Linda Huddy of Shoot Out fame.
He is the second winner from two foals to race for Allow, whose current yearling, a filly by Mossman fetched $100,000 at Inglis Easter this year.
Allow will be offered as Lot 1239 and has a positive test to outstanding young sire Sebring.
